The RPHA will be implementing a new point scale which will hopefully make things a bit easier when it comes to keeping tabs of how many points your Paint has earned in its career.
| 1st | 6 points | + 2 points if the class has 30 - 49 entrants |
| 2nd | 5 points | + 4 points if the class has 50 + entrants |
| 3rd | 4 points | |
| 4th | 3 points | |
| 5th | 2 points | |
| 6th | 1 point |
For example:
Bob has placed 2nd in a class that has 29 entries, so he receives 5 points for his placement. However, Jewel has placed 3rd in her class, which has 53 entries, so she would be rewarded with 8 points. The 8 points comes from the 4 points for finishing 3rd, and the bonus of 4 more points for placing in a class with over 50 entrants.
